Heroes actress Kristen Bell and creator Tim Kring had a conference call in which they discuss Bell’s character, the structure of Season 2, and the possibility of seeing more of the Original 12. Read more after the jump. Warning: There are spoilers contained within.
BuddyTV has an interview with Shalim Ortiz, who plays Alejandro on Heroes. In the interview he discusses getting his role on the show, working with Dania Ramirez and Zachary Quinto, Maya and Alejandro’s powers, the fan reaction to his character, and more. BuddyTV has a photo showing the first glimpse of Kristen Bell in her new role on Heroes. Bell will be playing a character named Elle, whose allegiances are uncertain at this point. Her first appearance will be in episode five, which is called “Fight or Flight”. You can check out the image here.
More big names will be working on the spin-off series Heroes: Origins. Eli Roth, the director of Hostel 1 & 2, will direct one episode of the series. Michael Dougherty, co-writer of Superman Returns and X2: X-Men United, will write one episode. These two join Clerks director Kevin Smith, who will be directing the first episode.
Origins will consist of six episodes and will follow the second season of Heroes. Each episode will focus on a new character. One of the new characters featured in Origins will join the cast of Heroes in the third season.

NBC has released the names of the first 4 episodes of season 2 and some information about how season 2 will begin. Check them out after the jump!
NBC has produced a five-part web series called Sword Saint. The series is documentary that Heroes creator Tim Kring describes as a “Ken Burns mockumentary”. It tells the legend of Takezo Kensei, the swordsman that Hiro idolizes. The narration is done by John Rhys-Davis, who played Gimli in The Lord of the Rings. Each installment is three to four minutes long and will be available at YamagatoFellowship.org.
