Brea Grant has just been added to the cast of Heroes in a recurring role. Grant has been previously seen in 3 episodes of Friday Night Lights and a recent episode of Cold Case.

Big News! Universal Studios, which was one of the backers of the HD-DVD format, has just announced its initial lineup of Blu-ray titles. Heroes: Season Two has the distinction of being Universal’s first global Blu-Ray release. If you’re wondering about the first season, Season One will be released on Blu-ray at the same time as Season Two. The scheduled release date for both of these titles is August 26th.
We can also assume that the standard definition DVD set for Season Two will release on August 26th as well.

Xbox Live fans have probably heard of Game with Fame events where you can play online games against celebrities. On March 14, fans will be able to game with Heroes Executive Producer Jesse Alexander from 11:30 PM to 12:30 AM Eastern Time. The game he’ll be playing in Frontlines: Fuel of War. Jamie Hector, star of the HBO series The Wire, has been confirmed as a new addition to the Heroes cast. New York Magazine reported that he shot a couple of episodes before the writers’ strike began. Hector doesn’t give away much, but he has revealed that his character’s name is Benjamin Knox Washington and that he has had a lot of fun working on the Heroes set.
In addition to The Wire, Hector has appeared on shows such as Law & Order, Law & Order: SVU, and Third Watch and in movies such as Clockers, He Got Game, and Ghost Dog.
