Heroes Season 4 Arriving August 3rd on DVD and Blu Ray
Heroes Season 4 “Redemption” has been given an official street date. While it’s not as early as some reports had speculated, at least we won’t have to wait until September. August 3rd is the official date that Universal has promised to release the 4th and final season of Heroes. We’re accustomed to getting commentary on almost every episode but it’s been scaled back just a bit this time around. Fortunately there’s a decent amount of other special features to keep us entertained. You can pre-order through Amazon via The 10th Wonder special links and you’ll be guaranteed the lowest price between now and the actual release.

the following statement by NBC’s Tim Kring – the “destroyer” of “Heroes,” was posted on the internet.
On that post, Mr. Kring stated, in part, as follows about how he “created” “Heroes”:
In Hollywood they say if Hitler wrote a great screenplay they’d send a limo to the airport to pick him up. . .
Great creativity comes from everywhere, I was flubbed [before] and I didn’t just want a show on the air, I wanted something big, bold, and wanted to prove them wrong.
Only problem was I didn’t have an idea, so I was just left angry and worried about it. . . . I lied and cheated and schemed and manipulated all the way through the idiocy that is the notes process when you do this, was able to push the production through relatively unscathed and in the form that it would work in. . . . That’s how Heroes got on the air. . . .
It’s not the most original idea in the world, you build and borrow.
Just put these pieces together in the right way, at the right time, and on the right network.

I CANT WAIT TO BUY THIS!
then throw it on the ground!
HEROES SUCKs–er..SUCKED!
You used to be a fan! I can understand not liking it anymore but you went from a fan to a total hater. To each his own I suppose.
Excited to buy this AND still hoping for a Heroes mini series. Not sure if they would do it without our favorite villain Sylar and Zach is in a play starting in September in NYC but once it is done, don’t see why he cannot come back out to LA to film it for a 2011 date
A mini series would be nice to wrap up a few open plot ends.
