Comcast in Talks to Buy NBC Universal?

September 30th, 2009 by Joe | 5 Comments

ComcastNBC_600x320While this isn’t exactly “Heroes” news, it does have to do with the studio that runs the show.  According to the Los Angeles Times, Comcast is looking to purchase NBC Universal from GE for approximately $30 – $35 billion dollars.  The Times goes on to say that there hasn’t been any word from GE that they were interested in selling NBC Universal, however the industry has been speculating for a while that something like this could happen.  It might be speculation at the moment but it’s definitely causing some buzz on the internet.  I wonder what kind of impact the sale of NBC to any company (not just Comcast), would have on the current shows that air on NBC?  For the full story, follow the link below to the L.A. Times.  Also, just in from TheWrap.com, there’s more information surrounding a meeting between the two companies.  What are your thoughts on this possible deal?

If you aren’t worried about spoilers or just can’t resist the urge, head on over to The ODI to find out more details surrounding this casting. Tonight: Episode 3 “Ink”

September 27th, 2009 by Joe | Leave a Comment

Happy Heroes Day! A week has already passed and it’s time for a new episode of Heroes.  Episode 3 “Ink” airs tonight and it looks very exciting to say the least. NBC has released a high quality promo entitled “A Normal Life.”  It appears to be the same version shown after last week’s 2 hour premiere. There have been YouTube videos floating around the web, however this is the official promo presented in a higher quality. Who’s Samuel talking to? How much will Claire reveal to Gretchen? Will Sylar push Matt to the edge? Tell us what you think.  I hope everyone is as excited as we are for tonight’s episode!

10th Wonder – Chapter 89 – “Orientation” & “Jump, Push, Fall”

Heroes is back and so are we! We’ve got a packed podcast full of news and discussion that we hope you guys are going to enjoy. Lots and lots of questions and theories are flying around after last week’s premiere. And it’s such an awesome thing to have our favorite show back in full swing again!

This week we broke our mold a bit and decided to bring you an extra long topics & discussion section instead of a super long recap of the two premiere episodes. If you guys like having the extra long discussion we might keep doing things this way, but we need your feedback, so let us know by leaving a comment, e-mailing us, or sending us a tweet!
