Casting Update: Tessa Thompson
Veronica Mars Alum Tessa Thompson will be joining the cast of Heroes. Along with four movies due out in 2009, Tessa is finding time to appear in volume 5, “Redemption.” At this point we’re not exactly sure how many episodes she’ll be appearing in. What we do know is that Tessa will play the part of Becky, “an upperclassman who is protecting a secret of her own.” It looks like Claire and Becky are going to be at odds and it will be interesting to find out exactly what secret Becky is hiding. Could it be an ability of her own? We’ll find out in the fall when Heroes starts back up on September 21st.

I’m looking forward to see what role she plays in the upcoming season of Heroes. As a former viewer and fan of Veronica Mars I’m glad to see Tessa doing so well and am confident that she will do well with whatever part she plays on Heroes. She’s a good actress and the show has been great with picking good actors/actresses so far.
