I’m so sorry people were disappointed with Steve (he seemed to know Heroes quite well to me, he just didn’t remember every last detail like which episode something happened in, but I’m pretty sure that’s understandable) and disappointed with this latest podcast, because honestly I loved it. All the discussions were logical and honest. The episode was reviewed in its entirety. And it was even said that the episode was worse than Company Man and maybe one of the weaker episodes this volume, so even people who didn’t like the episode should be sort of satisfied. I don’t see why anyone would be so rude and complaining! Honestly I hope Graham invites Steve again whenever Derek is out of town or just whenever Steve is free, lol, I love him!! And apparently Patrick up above loves him too.

I hope you 3 all continue to give us awesome podcasts, Wednesday or Sunday or whenever you have the time in your schedule! I look forward to them every week and I know lots of people agree. LOL. The “silent majority” of your loyal listeners love you guys I’m sure.

And a new Heroes in less than 1 hour for me!! Woo hoo!!

I just made a video someone else requested that required me to really study Nathan’s character since season 1 through now. And I really am torn! LOL. Puppet? Naive? Like Marceline said, ambassador from PLANET IDIOT? Or really good intentioned but it all just goes wrong? LOL. Well the link to the video is in my name, and it’s not my only Nathan video, just my newest one…

I look forward to listening to the live show replay during breakfast tomorrow morning.

As I look at the previous comments, I wonder if there isn’t a way to find a middle ground. First, let me say that I am enjoying this season immensely but I think that telling podcast listeners to “have faith” doesn’t address their concerns. The show will live or die on based on its own merit and if it’s driving people away then IMO that warrants examination. Anybody listening to The Tenth Wonder is obviously doing so because they were/are drawn to the show. These people want to love the show so if they’re losing that love then let’s find out why. I’m one of those people who were less than thrilled with the explosion painting. I didn’t hate it but I did roll my eyes a bit and I don’t apologize for that.

On another topic, I agree with Steve that Nathan is an idiot and not just any kind of idiot but the gold medal winner in the Idiot Olympics! (and in case you’re wondering, Mohinder has the silver and Hiro gets the bronze.) Steve may have backed off but I won’t: Nathan is an unstoppable, nuclear-powered, ambassador from PLANET IDIOT!

I was very disappointed by this episode as well. There was no discussion. One said something, the other agreed. It’s not constructive, it’s not interesting. And I’m sorry, but Steve not knowing enough about Heroes drives me crazy. In both the episodes he’s been in, we had to sit through Graham catching him up about stuff. If I listen to a podcast about a tv show I want to hear from people who know more than I do about it, and my knowledge is just average. These are the two main reasons why I didn’t enjoy the podcast, I’m hoping it will go back to its usual high level in the future.

Robin, Thanks for the kind words. I went back and listened to my comments, particularly where I got “passionate” according to Steve, Haha. I must say I do regret directing my comments at the people who emailed in about the explosion, that was wrong of me to do. I had a lapse in judgement where I was trying to make a point to a very particular crowd and I misdirected it toward the awesome people who e-mail us their opinions and reactions each week, and for that I apologize.

Keep doing what you’re doing. Don’t be distracted by that bs. You bring us a great show every week and I absolutely love the passion that you put into it. You were reacting to the amount of negative e-mail you received. If you didn’t react to it, then what would be the reason for people writing in? I actually came away from Cold Wars feeling mixed about it and I really liked your encouragement to stick with it. That’s what I’ve come to expect from the show and it’s one of the reasons I listen. I know for a fact that you remain critical. But there’s nothing wrong about remaining positive. If you love the show and the characters, you will keep coming back to it every week. If you want to hear someone else’s thoughts about the show, you will keep listening to the 10th Wonder. If you want just a robotic reading of the episode recap and the news, you’re listening to the wrong podcast.

But when it comes to Heroes, I challenge you to find one better.

I was incredibly disappointed with this podcast. I am still a fan of Heroes (though this episode was not my favorite) but felt that the amount of time you spent lecturing/begging the fans on how they should stick with the show was excessive/pathetic. You have lost me as a listener. Try sticking with commenting on the show, and you’ll make a much better (more listenable) podcast.
