David, it’s not our job to present a biased view of Heroes and the media surrounding it. If there’s something we don’t agree with or like regarding the show and/or it’s publicity, we give our thoughts on it. It’s not whining, it’s commentating. We’re fans and we’re allowed just as much an opinion as Entertainment Weekly or anyone else that cares to talk about the show. Thanks for your support and the constructive criticism!

I have to say that I absolutely love your analysis of Heroes. Having said that, quit the whining! Entertainment Weekly’s job is to write about tv. They have opinions. I understand that you feel it is in poor taste to say something bad about a show that we all like, but the truth is they have opinions. I don’t tune in to your podcast to hear whining about how other people don’t agree that Heroes is awesome. Please refrain from this in the future!

I must say I enjoyed this episode because it had more backstory and explained some of my questions about ‘Genesis’. Glad they saved the Elle-Sylar thing

I think NBC kinda goofed with the airing schedule. This would’ve been a good episode to air right before going on a break, rather than right after coming back from one

I agree that the episode was okay UPON FIRST VIEWING. Upon watching it a second time, I wanted to watch it again and again and again. I agree that the pace was off, but it fits right in upon a rewatch.

Awesome episode. Before I play it again on Hulu while I’m working, came here to see some raves. Excellent story telling, so glad to have the missing pieces. Now I’ll watch the livecast replay.

Thanks guys! It was a good time as usual. I was pretty shocked that you weren’t as blown away by this episode as I was. I thought it could have easily slid into season 1. The directing was amazing!
