New Season 2 DVD details emerge
TV Shows on DVD posted more details concerning the bonus content of the Heroes Season 2 DVD, as well as the expected prices for both the standard DVD and Blu-ray versions which hit stores on August 26th. A quick rundown of all the details is after the jump!
The Season 2 DVD in Standard Definition will cost $29.98 (MSRP)* and will include all 11 episodes of Season 2 on 4 discs.
Bonus content will include:

- Heroes Season 2 “A New Beginning” Featurette
- Takezo Kensei “Sword Saint” Mini Documentaries

Season 2 DVD in Blu-ray High Definition will cost $49.98 (MSRP) and will include all of the above bonus features, and more:
- Picture-In-Picture Cast & Crew Commentaries
- Hero Connections: Network,
- My Scenes
- Blu-ray Disc “Live” Enabled.
Don’t forget that NBC is also re-releasing Season 1 on Blu-ray on August 26th as well. It will cost $79.98 (MSRP), but we feel pretty sure that some stores will offer combo deals to folks who buy Season 1 and 2 on Blu-ray at the same time. We’ll keep an eye out for that.
