That particular graphic novel is very revealing. It says Adam has had "a few dozen names" and that one was Richard Sanders. It also says he's traveled the world, taking brides from several nations. That led me to suspect that all of the specials in our day are somehow descended from Adam Monroe. In Germany, perhaps his lineage extended somehow to Hana Geitelman. In Italy, he may have sired an ancestor of the Petrelli clan. In Japan, his descendants could include Kaito and Hiro Nakamura. He married women from the north and the south, the east and the west...women of every nationality and walk of life. And his genes could provide the genetic markers that Suresh discovered.
