“Powerless” Tonight!

We’ve finally arrived at December 3rd! Tonight we’ll watch the official close of Volume 2, and possibly (WGA agreement pending) the premature end to Season 2 altogether. Tonight’s ominously titled episode is looking to be a real show stopper, and rightfully so: If ever there was a more crucial time for our favorite show to pull out all of the stops and prove to faithful fans and doubters alike that Heroes can still blow everything clean out of the water, tonight would be the night. We’ll be glued to our TV sets tonight, and so should you. Dont forget to send in your voice mails and e-mails before, during, and after the episode!

I think it would be great if you guys added in a little section of the podcast ( if only during hiatuses…hiatusi? ) where you tossed ideas about how the various Heroes’ powers work. I mean look at video of their powers in action, and kinda think about the science behind how it could happen. Just a thought.
I’m going to cry tonight.
Seriously.

I’ve been pretty disappointed with a lot of this season, but what a great episode tonight! So, guys, will we be getting a Reactions? Pretty please?
December 4th, 2007 at 12:58 am
Josh,
Unfortunately we can’t get a reactions together, but as a special treat we are planning a special ensemble episode of the podcast this week with Myself, Derek and our former co-host Tucker. We’re also going to be recording the show a little earlier. We hope to have it out by Thursday night/Friday if our schedules work out.

That’s just as good, if not better. Looking forward to it!

Sounds good!

Yay, Tucker’s back!!!
Am I the only person who thinks that Tucker and Derek sound somewhat alike in person on the podcast?

no i think that oo i was just thinking about it

Is that a yes or a no?
I don’t know what “oo” means.

This episode was great. It really delivered and it was bittersweet because we have to wait so long for the conclusion regardless of the strike. Niki blown up, Nathan shot (I’m betting on Noah pulling the trigger on orders from the Company), and Kensei locked up in a coffin six feet under. I’ve never seen so many reversals of fortunes. Hiro was awesome, Peter was awesome, and Elle was awesome. I can’t wait for Volume Three: Villians.

Hey Graham and Derek, what will ya’ll do during this ridiculously long hiatus?

What a night! My work had transfered me back to night shift, so I couldn’t be there live for the show, and then due to the big coastal storm last night, my power blinked and my VCR lost it’s programming. I was able to find a site to *cough*stream*cough* the video, but at least I got to see it by 2:30AM. I think with the writers strike and all, the ending was a good as it could be. I am guessing it was HRG that shot Nathan and what about the stuff in that vault??!! Did anyone notice that the dagger in the vault was the same St. Joan from the comic book used?

I started listening to Starkvilles House of El podcast so I think now I can tell Derek and Tucker apart pretty easily and I can’t wait to hear all of our three hosts on the next podcast.

Why didn’t Peter walk thought the Vault and get the Vial?
he wouldn’t have gotten the bloody nose!

Less dramatic that way. From a writing point of view. The vault needed to be open to get Adam inside, separated from Peter, and confronted from Hiro inside the vault and then have Matt, Peter, and Nathan inside the vault to see inside. Necessary from a writer’s standpoint to tell the entire story.

This is the most ironic title for a Heroes episode…
POWERLESS….Almost every single hero was shown using their powers….
I guess it rivals HTSAEM
