The vault needed to be open to get Adam inside, separated from Peter, and confronted from Hiro inside the vault and then have Matt, Peter, and Nathan inside the vault to see inside. My work had transfered me back to night shift, so I couldn't be there live for the show, and then due to the big coastal storm last night, my power blinked and my VCR lost it's programming. I was able to find a site to *cough*stream*cough* the video, but at least I got to see it by 2:30AM. I think with the writers strike and all, the ending was a good as it could be. I am guessing it was HRG that shot Nathan and what about the stuff in that vault??!! Did anyone notice that the dagger in the vault was the same St. Joan from the comic book used? What a night! It really delivered and it was bittersweet because we have to wait so long for the conclusion regardless of the strike. Niki blown up, Nathan shot (I'm betting on Noah pulling the trigger on orders from the Company), and Kensei locked up in a coffin six feet under. I've never seen so many reversals of fortunes. Hiro was awesome, Peter was awesome, and Elle was awesome. I can't wait for Volume Three: Villians. This episode was great.
