The 10th Wonder Podcast - An NBC Heroes Podcast

Heroes creator Tim Kring and series-star Masi Oka (Hiro) recently held a conference call with entertainment journalists. A few highlights include:

• The Hiro character wasn’t originally in the script but was added because Kring felt that he was needed to balance out the dark and emotionally conflicted characters.
• There will be more fan-friendly castling like the casting of George Takei in Season 1.
• Kring was surprised to get an Emmy nomination this season and feels that The Sopranos is the show to beat.
• There will be several new villains in season 2, not just the boogeyman that Molly referred to at the end of season 1.
