This arc is sort of what I am expecting to see in the Heroes: Origin series... Normal people faced with the prospect of having superhuman abilities and how they deal with it. Betty learned the hard way that her powers could hurt and possibly take away the only friend she had. By working with Linderman, Candace thought she was using her powers for the greater good. She even showed restraint in what she made people see. I seem to recall her threatening someone (Micah? Bennet? I can't remember...) with "the horrors she could make them see if she wanted to." Like you, I'm ready for this arc to wrap up, because I'm anxious to see what's next. As for Part 4... my guess is they'll reveal that Betty is Candace... and she'll meet Mr. Thompson, much like the Haitian did at the end of Graphic Novel #38.
