It’s Graphic Novel day once again! Chapter 39: Betty (Part 1 of 4) was posted to the official Heroes website today. The graphic novel comes in two flavors: interactive or printable [PDF].
If you’re not familiar with the graphic novel, you should be! (You can read all of the past graphic novels here.) In most cases they pick up right where the television show leaves you and fill in additional back story between episodes.

You know, I was trying to figure out why we were meeting a new character already, and the fact that Betty could be Candice never even crossed my mind… and I call myself a Heroes fan… Sheesh.

Man, no wonder they made fun of her when she was like that. She craved that attention so badly that’s why she dressed and looked like that to stand out so much.

OMG! This was the first Novel I’ve read (don’t ask my why) and I loved it! :)(:
Just ONE question. Was there any reason there was the words “Mouse Wuz Here” on the stall when you see Betty on page 1? This is what Hereos does, put in random things foreshadowing future events. Anyway, Loved it and can’t wait for the rest.

I agree it is probably Candic. But, if you go to herosite.net they said she will most likely not be on the show next year. So is it a new character, because there is supposed to be a new high school girl in the next season i think, or is it candice, we will probably learn whether it is candice on the last novel in the series

I have a feeling it’s Candice. Putting another high school scenario in the show would be too redundant after Claire and her cheerleader “buddies” from last season.

When Candice was knocked unconcious by Nikki she still looked the same, yet we saw that her power stopped working. Therefore, this may not be Candice.
Saying that though, anything’s possible!!
