Graphic Novel 31: “Walls”
It’s Graphic Novel day once again! Chapter 31: Walls was posted to the official Heroes website today. “Walls” is part one of a two-part series. The graphic novel comes in two flavors: interactive or printable [PDF].
If you’re not familiar with the graphic novel, you should be! (You can read all of the past graphic novels here.) In most cases they pick up right where the television show leaves you and fill in additional back story between episodes.

Hiro and Ando jumped to a world where the bomb ripped apart New York City. Where special people were scapegoated and treated unfairly.
In this world two characters we knew, Peter Petrelli and Niki Sanders, became lost souls found each other in the wake of the tragedy. But how did this unlikely pair meet?

Good graphic novel, no explination about the scar. But it shows how intense the battle between ‘Specials’ and the government became.

Since he could use one of several abilities to hide it or just heal it completely… i think he wears it to remind himself of mistakes made, and of what he did… it fits the character persona 100%
