“Company Man” Trailer Analysis

Once again, I’m here to review the trailer for next week’s all new episode of “Heroes.” I don’t know how Tim Kring and the rest of the crew could possibly be able to follow “Unexpected,” but they’re sure going to try with “Company Man.”

Before I begin, I must appologize, as my usual means of obtaining the trailer to be scrutinized have failed. So, just stay with me for now, and I promise that when I can get a very detailed look at exactly what happened, you good people will be the first to be informed.

  • The showdown between Mr. Bennet and Matt, Ted, and Hanna has begun, and now it’s time for some questions to be answered.
  • We see scenes of Mr. Bennet out of his trademarked horn-rimmed glasses from apparently a long time ago.
  • We’re led to believe that this will be more of the story about Claire’s adoption, as well as early dealings within the Primatech Paper company.
  • All of this will be leaked as the mind-reading, wireless-transmitting, nuclear-meltdown team of heroes shakes down the Bennet family; we’re even shown a short clip of Baby Claire!
  • In the trailer we see that Claire gets on the side of the invasive threesome, and starts asking questions of her own.
  • Things eventually go awry for the trio, and Ted seems to be leveling the place as a result of some physical trauma; it appears as though he’s shot, as he is flung against a wall, and fire spreads around him.

Other than some various clips of Matt looking over a bridge of some sort, and more images of Mr. Bennet speaking with superiors, there isn’t much else to go on.

Despite it being presented by Windows Vista, the “Company Man” trailer was pretty alright. Feel free to continue posting to fill in the gaps. I was so jacked up from “Unexpected” that my photographic memory failed to engage and absorb every frame from the trailer. Again, thank you for your patience, and let’s all join in song praising “Heroes.”

im really getting annoyed with these windows vista format previews…

So I have actually used windows vista, for long amounts of time. Its just windows xp with the scroll thing, (which i’m sure a 15 yr old with enough caffeine could’ve coded over the weekend), and its shinier. Thats it.

  3. Robert o. says:

yeah thats what ive heard…but i just hate them presenting the upcoming episode preview like that…

  4. Dewm says:

I know what your talking about. I would rather have the preview “brought to me” by a sledgehammer to the side of my face than these stupid vista commercials.

  5. Jerry says:

It could be much, much worse – it could’ve been sponsored by one of those stupid Apple ads. I’d rather have Sylar pull my fingernails out with his mind.

    1) Bennett family history is welcome, criticism aside
    2) Vista bankrolls whilst Mac seduces and provides doubt, airing spots questioning Vista AND Jobs serenading Heroes at MacWorld AND Heroes pilot previewed at iTunes back when……
    3) Bring on HRG backstory to reveal his perspective!

  8. Tim says:

I can’t wait for this episode, in Canada, Global is airing this episode on Sunday so we’ll get it a day early!!!!

I haven’t seen anyone else that has predicted this yet… but I could have missed it. Anyways, based off the NBC Heroes website, and the 2nd preview snipet, that has the first meeting between HRG and his boss (who I think is Eric Roberts) and at the end, he mentions that his partner has been there during their entire discussion…meaning he was probably INVISIBLE… hopefully this week we will also see why HRG thought that “Claude” was dead…(comment he made on the roof to the Haitian), and also why Claude acted the way he did to Peter when he realized that HRG was on their trail.

I just wanted the props if nobody had predicted this yet…
