wow… This episode was great. Hiro and Ando were hilarious as usual. I thought it was awesome how Isaac, Nathan and Hiro are all together now, things are really getting interesting. Peter’s “new” dream sequence was just madness. Also, HRG and Matt’s confrontation was pretty intense. I couldn’t be happier after waiting this long.

  2. Claire says:

I think the thing that shocked and excited me the most (because I haven’t exactly been avoiding spoilers) was the scene in the prison where Niki used super-strength to break the guard’s nightstick–I’m pretty sure that was Niki the entire time, and not Jessica. The extended version of Peter’s dream sequence was incredible, but it only left me with more questions. I have a feeling we’re going to be analyzing it for the next few weeks, as if we hadn’t been doing so already. I also really enjoyed the “restaging of a scene from the pilot episode,”–Zach filming Claire–because it really gave us a different perspective on that scene, while still being true to the original. In fact, Heroes seems to do that a lot–every time one of Isaac’s paintings is realized, things turn out to be slightly different than they originally appeared.

  3. Corey says:

I absolutely loved the episode tonight. I can’t get enough of the Haitian. He is like the Boba Fett of this series, mysterious and slightly morally neutral. The dream sequences were excellent and my heart dropped when the sword was wood. I can’t wait to find out more about Linderman. But the big thing was the primatech paper card, the website is active but we need the code Mr. Bennet gave Mohinder. DAMN I WANT THAT CODE!

  4. man, what a frickin awesome episode. And how about the Sneak Preview beforehand? Hana is great. Her and Ted would make a pretty formidable team, especially if Ted can control his power more.

Overall I thought it was a great episode. It definitely came back strong… and didn’t give away too much too soon.

Corey – I have the code, but I’d have to kill you if you heard it. JK… call the 800 number… you can find it on the Primatech Paper website… once you call, choose Option 3 (Personnel) and listen for the code… :)

  5. Corey says:

Chris Harrison is on the list his power is one of Supreme Observational ability

  6. Rachel says:

It’s great to have Heroes back again! Something I almost missed – Peter toward the end of the episode calls on his cell to get a flight (I suppose) to somewhere in Nevada. I assume he’s trying to get himself far away from NY. Unfortuntely that just happens to be when Ted is. Perhaps he can’t escape his fate? Or do I remember the scene wrong?

  7. Dave E says:

Wow, what a great episode to come back with. My favorite scene was Hero slowing down time, how cool was that!

  8. Graham says:

Nice catch, Rachel. It seems that Peter wants to get as far away from NY as he can so that if he does blow up he won’t hurt anyone. That’s why he specifically asked about the Nevada desert being where the Nuclear bomb tests were conducted. Also, the eerie line during the re-cut of the Dream sequence where Peter says to Nathan just before he explodes: “I took his ability and I don’t know how to control it!” seems to point directly to Ted, doesn’t it? :)

  9. I thought it was interesting how Linderman came up again. (This time in connection with the sword.) Funny how he’s got his hands in everything. Both Simone and Nathan have direct access to him… and it will be interesting to see how Simone helps Hiro get the sword.

I loved the scene between the Haitian and Claire. The Haitian is quickly becoming one of my favorite “billans” in the show, if you can even call him that.

I’m with Claire in the comments here… I was blown away when I saw Niki snap the police baton in half. Character-wise, I’ve liked her the least in the show… but this added an interesting dynamic to her… like maybe she’s got more control over Jessica than she’s letting on, or Jessica’s slowly losing her grip over Niki.

  10. Alex says:

Hiro and Ando in the museum was great. It was cool to see Hiro slow down time (Or did he speed it up for himself?) to get the sword. My favorite bits were Hiro, Simone, and Nathan in Isaac’s apartment, and Claire reliving memories with Zach. DL using his power to hold Niki’s hand was pretty cool to see, too. I’ve been reading the Hana comics, so I was glad to see Hana’s introduction on the break during Deal or No Deal. And the preview was mindblowing.

  11. Rachel – Man that IS a great catch. I hadn’t even thought about it. Know what else would fall in perfectly with this? Hana would be expecting him… she would have been able to intercept the call… so she could be in on this too…

What about the Syringe diagram that was shown in the preview??? It was some sort of Serum delivery system. I’m going to try and get a good pic of it by the morning. I’ve got to burn the episode onto a DVD so I can get some good screen captures of it in the AM…

  12. Corey says:

I wonder if Peter will actually get to Nevada, which was a huge foreshadow to him meeting Ted or will he stay in NY with the Invisible Man

  13. I can see Peter making it to Nevada in the near future… and you can bet Hana already knows to expect him. I bet she’ll end up playing a role in getting Peter and Ted together. Ted will probably have second thoughts about unleashing his fury on so many unsuspecting souls and will want out. Hana is battle-hardened and wants revenge against HRG. I can see her do anything to get revenge… including duping others to help her achieve her goals.

Man, the rest of this season is going to be awesome.

BTW, there’s Greg Beeman posted a great article tonight on Godsend: http://gregbeeman.blogspot.com/

  14. kary says:

    Fav moments:

    1. Hiro’s face when he finds out it’s a replica sword.

    2. Hiro making a flying noise to Nathan, Nathan saying “Quiet, everyone will hear you.” Hiro makes the noise more softly.

  15. Jeffers says:

    Excellent Episode!
Rachel I was thinking the same thing when Peter was on the phone. But my fav scene was Ted in the Cabin/shack trying his power. Cool Stuff for sure.
It looks like Peter is staying in NYC for a little bit. Humm….
    Next week??? WOW!

How is Niki gonna get out??
I missed the DL power holding hands. Rewind!
    Awesome stuff…bedtime for me!
    Good Night all!

  16. The episode was beyond awesome!

Wow. I read too many spoilers for my health and was still very much blown away. The Petrelli scenes were very touching.

Peter was on the phone with the travel agent and was planning to go to Las Vegas before running into Claude. Will Nathan suspect something is up when Peter isn’t in Las Vegas? Or does he still go, but with Claude too?

Three weeks before the explosion. Ted appearing to have powers very much like the dream sequence, the corrilation with the Hana preview.

    I’m scared! LOL

  17. Oh more thoughts. Linderman. Linderman. Linderman!

    What’s this guy’s deal?

Will we find answers in Las Vegas?

  18. Angela says:

I noticed the bomb testing thing 2. Reading Greg Beeman’s blog is something I’ve noticed, is that all the heroes are slowly migrating to New York and thanks to Claude on the scene, Peter might be there awhile longer. Hiro got a new branch in his powers by merely slowing down time and it seems the Hiro holding up the fake sword to the dinasour replica WAS Issac’s painting. LOL. I also like Simone thrown into the mix. She can connect a lot of the characters together. She already has.

  19. Kyle says:

I like the little team they have going. Nathan, Hiro, Ando, and Simone. I also loved it when Hiro first say Nathan and shouted, “FLYING MAN!”. That made me smile. Umm…anyways my favorite aspect of the show is Mohinder and Chandra and Sylar and their whole connection. These characters seem to hold the secrets to all the answers in the show and Mr. Bennet even admitted that Chandra knew more than he did. I have come up with what I think is a very possible theory or just plain observation about the show and about Sylar.

    Gabriel “Sylar” Gray

His original power was that he could see how things worked. So what he did is he stole or somehow acquired Chandra Suresh’s list and started off by contacting that guy who had the telekinesis, I forget his name, it’s the scene where he goes to Gabriel’s watch shop and Gabriel first comes up with the name Sylar. Anyway he kills this guy, I think his name is Tom, the old fashioned way and takes out his brain, probably with a saw. Since he can see how things work he studied this guy’s brain and found out how to use his power.
Mohinder in the first episode talked about the limit of human brain power and how we only use 10% of our brains. These heroes have their abilities because they are using more than 10% of their brains. So Sylar takes the brains and studies them because he knows how things work and therefore he learns how to use that part of his brain therefore allowing him to use that power.
So he goes around taking all these peoples brains and studying them like textbooks and basically learns how to use these powers. I guess he has killed a person that can freeze things in order to freeze people as well and he must have learned some sort of healing ability or maybe indestructible.
Anyway I really like this aspect of the show because it kind of says that any person is capable of being able to have these powers if they can unlock that part of their brain. Remember what Chandra Suresh says, “If the soul exists, it exists in the mind.” Do a little soul searching and you may find that you too can unlock an ability. Do a LOT of soul searching and you may unlock a lot of abilities and as Mohinder says, maybe be worthy of God’s presence.

  20. Nathan says:

Great thought Kyle. Just the idea that maybe that might be the ‘lesson’ the producers want to get through to the audience is great. We all could be heroes, but we just have to look deep (as HRG said) to find our ‘abilities’.

  21. BrianAlt says:

Nice, all my comments were lost, sooo I’ll see if I can rewrite them…

I agree with what Claire said about Nikki. In fact a spoiler said that Nikki would learn about a power she didn’t know she had. I’m pretty sure you guys discussed that in the spoiler section in the last podcast.

Also, it’s been demonstrated and discussed that it’s usually strong emotions that bring these powers forward. And she was very emotional about not being able to hug her son.

Now, about Peter’s dream… We’ve already been told that his dream would evolve over time, for example the Claude character now being a part of it and Nathan telling him that he’ll help him. I think it will continue to evolve further and it’s in the dream that Peter needs to figure out how to fix this thing so it doesn’t happen in “real life”.

  22. Bruce says:

Loved Hiro’s expression when he discovered that the sword was a fake! And stooped shoulders as he trudged back to the museum “I’m going to take it back”.

I suppose it could be that Nikki was using the power, but I was thinking it would be really cool if she had the ability to replicate herself (Like the guy on the X-Men movie who was arrested for “robbing 7 banks simultaneously”). That would give Jessica a body of her own, potentially, and didn’t we already see this occur in the scene where Nikki was talking to Jessica? They each were sitting with their back to the mirror, and each had their own mirror image. She wasn’t looking into the mirror talking to her image, she was looking at another person… anyway, just a thought.

I Think one spoiler I read said that a female was being written out of the story. That must me Matt’s wife, ’cause wasn’t she ready to leave when he walked in the door? That would be too bad, but it’s the only one I could think of, — unless Nikki/Jessica is the one, but I think there’s probably more of them to be seen.

I missed the preview with Hana, is it anywhere on the web that I could see it?

  23. Bruce – you can access it http://www.nbc.com/Heroes/360/ (I think)

AFAIK, it should show the “Wireless” video as something you can view ….

  24. Kaite says:

The code for the primatech website is MT36. Put that in and it will bring you to a page like a job app. It’s probably an alternate reality gaming website which will give you clues and updates as the show goes on. Just make sure you put in a working email address and/or phone number (so they can text you). If you call 1-800-PRIMA16 and enter option 3 you can get the code.

The Hana preview is on the NBC website, I had missed it last nite as well. I was wondering how Peter could see Claude in his dream and things to come. It’s not like he’s met Sanjog and has that ability. I’m thinking maybe because he’s so empathetic he can put himself in the position of someone else and see what they can see.

  25. Kaite says:

Another comment! I keep reading places that Sylar has the ability to see how things work. I don’t see that as an ability, i just think he has a knack for it. The reason I think that is because Suresh made it pretty clear to us and to Gabriel that he had no ability. he actually had to go and steal someone elses. I don’t think he had any abilities till he stole Brian’s.

  26. Nathan says:

Katie that might be true since during last night’s episode HRG told the scientist to look deeper. The scientist could only find telekinesis(?).

  27. Will says:

I’m so happy that the show is back.

It was cool to see D.L. hold Nikki’s hand but I was surprised to see that there was a guard in the room. Why didn’t the guard say anything?

I wonder if Hiro really does need the sword to restore his power or if it’s a mental thing.

I’m glad that Nathan was a little less evil this week.

  28. Joseph says:

anyone catch the name of the reporter at the beginning of the episode?

Her name was Angela Bromstad, which happens to be the same name of the NBC Universal Studio President

  29. Rich says:

Vegas seems like its going to be the place to be next week. Here’s how I see it going down:

Nathan (and possibly Simone) are heading out to Sin City to try and persuade Linderman to give up the Kensai sword. While there, Nathan is going to run into the newly liberated Nikki/Jessica (Nissica???) and have an awkward at best reunion.

Hiro will get kidnapped by his dad and brought back to Japan, and Ando will head off to help his buddy.

Claire will begin the process of finding her bio parents, but will only have contact over the phone as seen in the trailer. Still too early to actually meet them.

Peter and Claude have a lot to talk about, and Peter will not be off to Nevada. He needs to stay in NYC so’s he can go boom. Also, Claude has a lot to teach him that will keep Peter occupied for the next few episodes.

Just my thoughts. What do you guys think?

  30. Chair says:

…yeah, but we already know that Sylar has the ability to remember things perfectly (thanks in part to Charlene). The simplest explanation is that these scientists don’t really understand what they’re looking for. Something like TK would most certainly stand out, but how does a good memory or a knack to fix things show up in a DNA test? I loved how they had him jacked in and totally sedated though. That was a really neat move.

How did they hide everything from the feds? Something tells me that there are more specials than just ‘the Haitian’ working at Primatech. I would imagine that it wouldn’t be too hard for someone to mask the building in some type of illusion that blocks all investigations to certain areas. Neat-o!!!

Now, regarding Peter’s newer dream. I think that there may be some importance to that first shot, that shows him getting up off the ground. Why would Peter be splayed out like that? Perhaps he’s mastered flight, that would explain why he would by lying down in the middle of a once busy street. But… I dunno, it seems to obvious for Heroes. Also, why does he keep looking down into that tunnel?

I totally loved that Jessica finally got a chance to use her strength. When I had read that she was going to get her own power, I thought that meant a different ability for her, other than strength. Now though, at least she can play more of an active role. I just hope they continue this arc with her dead sister inhabiting her body. Was that her ability? Does that mean their father can do something too?

This is a little off topic, but has anyone gone to the NBC.com site in the past day or two and seen Muhinder’s interactive map? It’s surprisingly sparse, but I did notice an odd mistake. (I’m sure it’s an error on NBC’s part, it’s too glaring to have been done on purpose.)

As you scroll about that map, you’ll find one man with a full address listed twice. “Abu Aswan, 1428 Sabah, N Ave., Cairo, Egypt” But the problem is he’s listed once in South America, and then in Northern Russia. Neither of which are terribly close to Egypt. Plus, why does that name sound so familiar to me? I’m not being sarcastic, I really do think I’ve heard his name in the show or in the real world news or something lately. Am I loosing it, or can someone vouch to the familiarity of his name?

Why is Simone so important!!!! This is killing me, and please don’t consider that question a character assassination of her role. I really need to know what the writers are planning. She is obviously an important part of this show as she appears again and again in advertising, and promos. And it can’t possibly be because she completes the love-triangle between Isaac and Peter. Could she have an ability? I know the writers say “no,” but what is it? She is the second (possibly third) mundane character that seems truthfully significant to this show the other(s) being, Mohinder and Mr. Bennet. Arghh!!!

I haven’t seen the upcoming preview, but I’m waiting for it to surface on YouTube, and I cannot wait to hear the new PodCast!

  31. Rich says:

I think that Simone DOES have a latent power. I also think that her father had a power, too. Remember, Peter’s first dream was about Nathan’s accident, which he had just as he started working in hospice care, taking care of Simone’s father. He also continually had precognitive dreams around Simone’s dad, and one the momement he (the father) died. Maybe the father was a precog and Peter permanantly absorbed part of that power because they were so close?

This doesn’t prove that Simone has a power, but it definately hints at a genetic link…

  32. Chair says:

There was some talk about this group that Simone’s dad formed, it’s purpose was to watch and aid those with abilities. Now, I don’t know how real this is. It sounds a little far-fetched, but then again, Mr. L has been doing whatever he can to purchase things from Simone.

    I love this show!!!

  33. Rich says:

Here’s a thought – Sylar is drugged up and nearly comatose while cockroaches are crawling all around. Cockroaches are referred to in the series as “the ultimate survivor,” and it seems like he’s studying them. Is he maybe learning how a cockroach’s survival works? Could Sylar become even tougher from studying roaches? Or is the idea of the Indestructable Cockroach Man just too ridiculous of an idea?

  34. Tim says:

Boy, was this episode awesome! I liked how the characters’ connection to Linderman is deeping ever more, with this search for the Sword! I liked seeing Claude’s character introduced. But why was CLaude laughing? Is he going to betray Peter before the end? And will Peter and Ted collide before the end? SO amny questions . . . Must keep watching . . . ANyways, awesome episode. I almost feel like this was a new season of Heroes cause of the way things went down. But it’s still season 1! But I love the way things are going down! Keep em coming!!!

  35. Mark says:

can someone send me a link to a reference for the episode with the 14 year flashback? I’ve got this idiot that doesn’t believe me and thinks I’m making stuff up.

    BubbaCoop [at] gmail [dot] com

  36. WingsStef says:

In reference to Charles Deveraux’s possible power, could he be Clairvoyant? It would explain the dream with him and Peter.

Peter has been around him a lot so he would have absorbed it by now.

And think about it how interesting a combination of clairvoyance, empathy, and precognition (from Isaac of course) would be in dream form. Just an theory.

  37. Tamaryn says:

    Here are a couple thoughts I had… Lenderman = Claire’s real father.

Did I miss something with Sylar though? Why was he still captured, I thought when Eden shot herself he’d escaped. Can someone comment to that please?

    Thanks!

  38. Tamaryn – you need to read the graphic novels :) They fill in lots of gaps.

  39. kurt says:

heyyy man last night was crazy… at first i almost felt like i was shorthanded by the episode just because there was so many spoilers going around during the hiatus and many of which were true. then again at the same time many of them were proven wrong.

that besides the point, i did notice something about HRG. when he walked into mohinder’s apartment hoping to form some kind of alliance with him, he was holding a gun. the thing that i found striking about the gun was the fact that it had an odd yellow/green color at the back (Please correct me if i’m wrong)… with this in mind my theory is that it was not a normal gun… but (if you saw the preview of hana with ted during deal or no deal), it was similar to the blueprints that were shown on ted’s computer. my guess is the gun was actually a gun that holds the serum instead of conventional ammo. also, though HRG did leave mohinder at the end of the discussion, it was never made clear that he actually left the building, we only hear the door close as mohinder stares at the primatech business card (i know this is a stretch).

my theory is that HRG is obviously aware of the fact that mohinder has the list, which if i remember correctly, HRG had removed claire’s name from when mohinder’s dad was still alive. i also believe that mohinder has some sort of undiscovered ability… back when he found out that shanti had some sort of power, i can’t help but think that mohinder has one too since they share the same bloodline; just like peter and nathan have abilities.

i also think that the gun or “syringe” with the 2 needles is very significant to “unleashing” or the “discovery” of the heroes to find their powers.

we’ll just have to wait till next week!

  40. Kurt, I agree… the syringe delivers a serum which, when administered to someone with a latent ability, it definitely unlocks their potential…

As for Mohinder having a special ability, I’d have to agree that it’s possible. Especially since his sister was special…

  41. Ben says:

Poking through the code for the “job applicaion” page, there are 3 values to each question… 1, 2, and 3.

    For example, the first question:
    1. If you work at a store and see a woman steal a can of soup to feed her family, would you:
    A. Ignore it
    B. Inform the store manager
    C. Pay for it yourself

Answer A gives you 3 “points”, B gives you 1 “point”, and C gives you 2 “points”. I’m not a psychologist, but from first guess, if you answer questions with 1 point, you’re unempathetic… 2 points, you’re a “hero” and 3 points you’re a coward. Or, something like that. I honestly have no idea, but that’s my guess.

At any rate, the point values for each question are as follows:

    1 point answers (in order from #1 to #7): B A C C B B C
    2 point answers (in order from #1 to #7): C B B B A C A
    3 point answers (in order from #1 to #7): A C A A C A B

The computation of the answers is fairly straightforward but hard to explain clearly, but it goes like this: if you total 4 “1 point” answers you receive a “1″ for the final score, if you total 4 “2 point” answers, you receive a “2″ for the final score, and if you total 4 “3 point” answers, you receive a “3″ for the final score. Basically speaking, whatever your answer is the most number of times, that becomes your final score…

The weird thing is: ***IF YOU TIE TWO VALUES (1112223, 1222333, etc.) YOUR FINAL SCORE WILL BE “3″*** no matter what your actual answer combination was.

Kicker: I have no idea what the final score actually does. That’s handled on the server end, and I really don’t have the time to try and brute force the NBC web server for THAT answer.

  42. Angela says:

so many theories, but I was good and didn’t listen to the spoilers of your last podcast until after i posted my comment last nite. if the neck incisions HRG’s organization does are really tracking devices, there is no way he could surprise anyone with his raids on the paper company. if peter could master his ability tho, he could get all the sylar info and really get to HRG. tho i doubt that will ever happen. yeah… lol.

  43. Doug says:

I notice that Hiro and Isacc now have some kind of connection. Plus one thing is still bugging me. HOW DID NATHAN FLY AWAY FROM the HATIAN and HRG?

  44. Daven says:

oh it was so damn good.God i love this show.

  45. Joyce says:

Oh man, great episode. Definitley worth the wait. I especially liked the scenes with Hiro in them and the scene with Niki/Jessica talking to their lawyer…Ali Larter did an amazing job portraying both characters and switching between the two…really great.

My theory is really out there…but since family ties are seeming to get more important… what if Claire’s biological father is/was Nathan and Peter’s father?? Its just a thought because I was thinking about family ties between the heroes we know already…

  46. Eric says:

WOW! What a great episode to start back up with …

My favorite scene was Ted training in the Nevada desert … Too cool! Based on the spoiler for next week’s episode (Hana & Ted), I hope they have an action scene and show Ted battling using his powers … That would be so awesome to see.

Nikki has super-strength … AHHHH! (lightbulb turns on) So she actually is crazy (ala Fight Club)!

Simone … I think she does have a power, and so did her father. I am in total agreement with Rich on this. I think Mr. Deveraux had precog powers and thats the source of Peter’s precog dreams. Also, Peter’s dream appears to only include “specials” (No Mom, No HRG, etc.), and Mohinder and Simone are in the dream. This doesn’t prove that Mo & Simone are special, but just one more hint that they are … After all, you need to keep something for S2.

Abu Aswan … I am thinking he can multiply himself, which is why he shows up multiple times on the list in different locations.

WILD PREDICTION … If/when Hana confronts HRG, look for them to use something like a white noise generator to block her abilities. It should have a similar effect as when the Haitian blocks Matt mind-reading powers.

Anyway, great podcast last week … I almost died laughing when the kid you guys were interviewing said he didn’t know who George Takei was … MAN! How old am I?

  47. Corey says:

I get the feeling the Hatian can block the abilities of anyone he is in proximity to. We know he can erase memory but is he powerful enough to flip the ability switch all the way to off rendering abilities useless

  48. Joseph says:

corey, if that’s the case, how was Nathan able to fly away?

  49. Chair says:

Here’s a couple more of my takes, thanks for reading my last long winded post.

Regarding the incisions being some outward sign of a tracking device, I’d have to say “no” to that. My reasoning would be that if they were implanting devices into people, wouldn’t Wireless know immediately and be able to reverse it’s use to track exactly where Mr. Bennet is? Since she’s obviously still hunting for her, I’d have to say that the incisions are the result of the injection of the serum, and only that.

Now, heres a question building off of the serum and the research. How does HRG’s team track specials in the first place? At no time, before his abduction, did we see Matt telling people about his abilities (have we, I honestly don’t remember.) And yet, within what a day or two of his abilities developing, ‘the Haitian’ shows up at a bar he visits. So, does that mean that HRG has a special on his team with the ability to track other specials?

Next, I’ve been thinking about this for a _long_ time, and I think that the only explanation would be that HRG must have other specials working at Primatech. We’ve already met with ‘the Haitian’ (I hope he has a good name), we know that there is a very likely chance that some type of illusionist special or hypnotism special works there, otherwise how could the FBI miss the ‘holding pen’ at the very least? Finally, as of Godsend, we observe HRG traveling (not literally) from his house to the ‘holding cell.’ And, then from FBI semi-custody in TX to NY to chat with Mohinder. I think that there is good reason to believe that HRG also employees a transportation special… which isn’t too hard to swallow because on Mohinder’s map, there are at least three specials listed with some type of transportation based ability… not to mention our witnessing of Nathan’s ability to fly incredibly fast, and Hiro’s ability to fold space!

I cannot wait to see when Hiro gets the ability to transport someone else along with himself… or better yet, since he is getting better and better at controlling time, wouldn’t it be neat to see him turn a locked wooden door into dust by touching it and hyper extending a time bubble across its surface? Talk about Yataa!

  50. Chair says:

I still don’t get ‘the Haitian,’ some people have argued that his powers only work on those who need to concentrate… which seems to be right, but then again, why would there be such unusual limitations to his ability.

Furthermore, how can he wipe memories as well as nullify powers? The writers have always stated that each special will only _originally_ have one power (which offers the loop-hole for Sylar.) Does that mean that ‘the Haitian’ was modified to have another power, or does his abilities stem from a single power? Similar to Hiro’s ability to bend time _and_ space?
