Jessalyn Gilsig’s Character Revealed!
I couldn’t resist posting a new spoiler before hopping my flight to NYC. Had we known this bit of information before recording last week’s podcast it would have helped big-time during our “Familial Bonds” topic. Many of our listeners have e-mailed this in, and it has been discussed on many of the trusted spoiler sources. You know the drill: spoilery goodness after the jump!
Multiple sources have confirmed that Jessalyn Gilsig of Nip/Tuck, and Boston Public fame will indeed by playing Claire’s biological mother! News like this makes the hiatus go by much easier. Keep it coming!

I wonder if it’s Nathan. He’s shown the audience that he doesn’t mind sowing wild oats, and he’s about the right age for a 16/17 year old daughter.
Yeah, I am thinking that Claire is either Nathan’s or Peter and Nathan’s father’s kid because of how Angella mentioned how he had halluations and stuff, he is probably where Nathan and Peter got their power.
Or maybe (and this is a long shot…) her power is exactly like Claire’s except she is more advanced and can reproduce asexually (much like sponges, if you cut a part off it becomes a new sponge) and she cut a finger off to create a “clone” of herself.

I DO NOT think that Claire’s bio-mom has the same power as she does. After all Micah does not have either of his paren’ts abilities. So who’s to say that Claire’s mom would be any different. I think if she has an ability that she must have something completely new and different. Something else to wow the audience. And don’t forget if they are willing to bring in her bio-mom there is a possibility that a father isn’t too far off the radar. And how interesting would it be if they gave her a crazy possibly evil bio-dad to pit against HRG….fun!
I did some reading, and some research, and some discussing… and it would seem the Claire’s mum doesn’t have the same power. However, it would appear that we have seen her already on the show… that’s all I’ll say, as I don’t want to drop to large a bomb on this board.
