Just listened to your podcast and it reminded me of something. I assumed that the Sylar watch was the same watch he was working on when the professor came in (the 1917 watch). If so then I think there might be a discrepancy.
If I remember correctly, the watch had center seconds, meaning the second hand was not in a subdial at the 6 O’clock position but instead on the same pinion as the hour and minute hands. I don’t know if they made such watches back in 1917… I think they didn’t start making center second hands until the 40’s.
I remember reading an article about it called “Pursuit of Center Seconds” at Timezone.com. It’s been several years since I’ve read it so I could be wrong…

What if Sylar is able to see if people want their power. I.e. The telekinetic guy not wanting his power and claire not origanlly wanting her power. This also explains why he didnt realize Hiro was in the Diner. Also i think he killed Charlie beacuse she wouldn’t have been able to use her power. So yeah Thats about all.
